A reputable rigger has suggested that Vee Jay's mast is "inverted" - i.e., slightly bent forward at its upper half. I wonder if other readers can recognise this malformation? See picture on Vee Jay's page. He said that he could not adjust the stays to correct the fault - as they were at their limit. In addition, there was a backstay tensioner - an old wheel which drew the stays together - but he stripped that off! He said it was useless. I'd appreciate what observations others may make of his judgement. And may be able to offer some advice on what to do next.
Mast - inverted. Bent forward?
