The Great Dane37 is another construction by K. Baess at the end of the 60s. About 20 boats in total were built (1969-1970).

She's a ketch rigged, with a separate cabin backward from the cockpit. With its massive dimension: 11.1 m in length, 3.6 m wide and 1.6 m deep, she's was the biggest at that time. She's a sailing surface of 50m2 and a displacement of 8 tons, 2 toilets, hot and cold water, a shower, 3 cabins. She was originally

Hull build at Sandersen (the same yard used for the GD28s) and interior by Heller. Design by () Knud Olsen (very wellknown in Denmark) and Sandersen (not sure if it is the same Saendersen as the builder (not very common name here).
